ADULT ART CLASSES

I would be delighted to welcome any new parents (or relative/friend of Great Ballard parents) to these sessions on Fridays from 1.15 - 3.15 p.m. These classes are a chance for you to try drawing, painting, silk painting, wire sculptures, modroc modelling, pottery etc.
The cost is £200 per term...

On the 20th December the Proprietor's father passed away peacefully at home aged 88. Mr Chedzoy bought Great Ballard School in 1991 with the School in financial difficulties and helped transform it over the next twenty years. A memorial service will be held at Boxgrove Priory on 26th March at 12 o’clock....

WORLD BOOK DAY THURSDAY 1ST MARCH - PRE-PREP ACTIVITIES

The children in Pre-Prep will be taking part in themed activities relating to stories and authors. They may dress up as a character relating to their class theme if they wish. If they do it will add to the fun of the day! (M/S plans to be announced after half term.)

Matches this week were decimated by the frozen pitches. Instead, the children wrapped up warmly and enjoyed a walk across the countryside surrounding Great Ballard. I must mention the Cross-Country runners from last week?s Oakwood meet who did so well coming second overall.

The U13 Rugby team lost a really good rugby game 36-24 at Bishop Luffa, the U12 Girls competed well at the Prebendal netball tournament and well done to the U11 Netball team which won 20-0 at Seaford....
