Great Ballard, where great futures begin!

At GB, we have woven careers and futures into our holistic approach to education, with our unique MAP and L2L curriculums, as well as our enterprise programme, making sure students are ready for their next steps, whether that be college, sixth form or an apprenticeship. Please see the attached the GB careers & futures newsletter.

As part of our careers programme, every student is offered the opportunity to take part in a mock job-application process; they can apply for a fictitious job, for which they much submit their CV and participate in a face-to-face interview with an industry expert.

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to give up some time to review CVs and interview candidates for mock job interviews. We will sift the applications and send you the shortlisted candidates (sent to you over the May half term). Then we will arrange times for the various roles, for you to interview the student candidates (w/c 8 June). You will then offer some feedback and ultimately choose a “winner”. All participants efforts are acknowledged and participation will go towards their end-of-year diplomas.

We would be really grateful if you could complete the form below, to sign up to volunteer. Thank you in advance for offering your time and expertise.
